Dress Code

Semi-formal to formal. You’re encouraged to go all out—dress in bright colors, sparkles, and funky looks. The party will be majority outdoors.
Plus-Ones & Children

The venue has given us a strict guest limit. Please, no plus-ones unless explicitly offered to you. As of this time, no children over the age of 2.
No Smoking

The venue is a nature center and because of that there is a strict NO smoking rule on the grounds.
Parking

There is a small parking lot directly in front of the venue. If that is full, you can park along the street or in the open grass lot you will pass on your way in. There will be a golf cart to shuttle people to and from.
Dinner

Dinner will be buffet style with choices of chicken and beef fajitas, avocado salmon, or a vegetarian dish. Dinner will be served 7-8 PM.
Our story
The year 2015 was coming to an end. Danielle was preparing to graduate early from the journalism program at UT Austin. And Van was a recent transfer student, working toward a geology degree.
One night, they were both invited by mutual friends to Cain & Abel’s, the campus watering hole. Danielle tried making conversation, but Van, who was only 19, could barely muster a response. Still, they were now part of the same crew.
Five years later—following many parties, road trips, and one brief falling out—Van sent a late-night drunk text to Danielle admitting what many around them already knew: He wanted to be more than friends.
The text exchange went like this:
Van: “I want to be with you.”
Danielle: “LOL stop.”
And so, in October of 2020, Van and Danielle took a chance. They fell in love.
